Dr. Birutė Aleksandravičiūtė is an associate professor of the Institute of Management (Faculty of Politics and Management) of Mykolas Romeris University and  Communication Faculty of Vilnius University, where she lectures on  Organizational Behavior and Psychology of Advertising. Dr. B. Aleksandravičiūtė possesses a strong interdisciplinary background. She has acquired her MA in education sciences from the Lithuanian Sports University in 1998 and MA in Sports Psychology from the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine in 2000. Afterwards B. Aleksandravičiūtė has defended her Ph.D. thesis in education sciences at the joint doctoral programme of the Lithuanian Sports University and the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (2003) as well as has graduated from the Gestalt Training Program of the Gestalt Studies Center of Kaunas. Birutė Aleksandravičiūtė has accumulated abundant experience in applying psychological and educational knowledge in practice. During her career she has served as the head of Academic Affairs Centre of Mykolas Romeris University, the head of the Center for Coordination of Academic Affairs of Vilnius University, an analyst of the Research and Higher Education Monitoring and Analysis Centre (MOSTA), as well as has held management and leadership positions in private sector both in Lithuania and other Member States of the European Union. The main research interests of dr. Birutė Aleksandravičiūtė concentrates on issues of higher education policy, however cover a wide array of themes in psychology, management and education sciences also.
