Eglė Kavoliūnaitė-Ragauskienė is a researcher of the Law Institute of Lithuania where she heads the Legal System Research Department. She also studies her PhD at Vytautas Magnus University Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy, the thesis is titled „Public Family Policy in Lithuania: A Search for Consistency and Coherence“. Eglė Kavoliūnaitė-Ragauskienė has graduated Vilnius University Faculty of Law (Master of Law) in 2003 and Vilnius University Faculty of Economics (Master of Economics) in 2010. The interdisciplinary educational background that Eglė Kavoliūanitė-Ragauskienė possesses has been significant in many national and international research projects she had participated. The core research theme of Eglė Kavoliūanitė-Ragauskienė is family policy and gender issues, however her research covers many differing topics in law, economics and political science, ranging from public administration and management to criminal justice, media studies, public health, etc.
