Johanas Baltrimas is a junior research fellow of the Law Institute of Lithuania. He has graduated Vilnius University Faculty of Law acquiring his MA in law in 2011 and is in his PhD studies at the same faculty since then with a thesis on the role of legal precedents in the legal system of Lithuania. Although still in his PhD studies, Johanas has already gathered a significant research experience: he has published 7 research publications on legal reasoning and human rights, presented his research in a number of national and international research events. It should also be mentioned, that Johanas Baltrimas engages in practical application of legal knowledge apart of his research positions, he is an assistant of a judge at Vilnius Regional Administrative Court. In its own turn the position that Johanas holds at the court is of value taking into account the theme of the PhD thesis he is working on.
