Kotryna Stupnianek has graduated in interdisciplinary curriculum of legal psychology and has acquired her MA in Psychology of Law from Vilnius University in 2014. Although Kotryna has graduated Vilnius University less than a year ago, she possesses a diverse research experience already. Kotryna Stupnianek has taken part in the interdisciplinary research project of Vilnius University “Social Perception of Judges’ Behavior and Image” (funded by the Research Council of Lithuania, 2012-2013), takes part in the interdisciplinary research project of Vilnius University “Social Context of Corruption” (funded by the Research Council of Lithuania, 2015-2017). Kotryna is also engaged in practical application of legal psychological knowledge she has acquired through her studies and research experience, she serves as the lead forensic psychologist at Vilnius County Court where she is engaged in providing psychological support to victims of crime, investigative interviewing of minors in court hearings and pre-trial investigations, drafting forensic reports. The major research theme of Kotryna Stupnianek is victimology, encompassing psychological, legal and sociological approaches on issues victims of crime are dealing with.
