Milda Mačėnaitė is a PhD Researcher at Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILTS). She has acquired her MA in law from Vilnius University in 2006, MA in International Relations and European Studies from the Central European University in 2008, and MA in law from Tilburg University in 2012. During her career M.Mačėnaitė has served as a lawyer in Complaints Investigation and International Cooperation Division of the Lithuanian Data Protection Inspectorate, a legal counsel at the Office of the Committee on Audit of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, a legal expert of the Lithuanian Consumer Institute. She also possesses experience of work at international institutions, having held internships at the European Commission and the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe. The main research interests of Milda Mačėnaitė lay in the fields of privacy and protection of personal data; digital rights of children; regulation of new technologies, she has published a number of research publications in the aforementioned fields and have presented results of her research in many research events.
