Dr. Petras Ragauskas is an associate professor of Vilnius University Institute of International Relations and Political Science where he has lectures on Constitutional Law and Policy of Public Law. He also serves as the senior research fellow of the Criminal Justice Department of the Law Institute of Lithuania. Petras Ragauskas has received his Ph.D. degree in law from Mykolas Romeris University in 2004 and has held different academic and research positions in Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius University, Law Institute of Lithuania (including the position of the director of the institute) since then. During his academic career he has accumulated rich experience in handling collaborative research projects in law, political science, sociology, and related disciplines. Petras Ragauskas currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal „Teisės problemos“ (Legal Issues), is a member of the Research Council of the Law Institute of Lithuania. Research interests of Dr. Petras Ragauskas cover a wide range of issues in law and politics, including, but not limited to constitutional structures, governance and anti-corruption, administration of justice, legislative procedures of the European Union.
